This is one of my favorite DIY’s I’ve ever done! It is so easy & actually turned out sooo well!
I had been seeing these wall tapestries all over & thought they were so minimalistic & boho, which tends to be my style. But most of them were around $25 & I just wasn’t willing to spend that on some string & a stick! So I got on Pinterest & found my own version.
Supplies: 1 stick or wooden dowel
I got my stick from the desert, but if you’re not fortunate enough to walk in your backyard & find one, you can buy a wooden dowel at places like Micheals or even Walmart craft section. The size of the dowel will depend on how big you want your tapestry! Then get some different colored yarn. I chose grey & baby pink! You can play around with the yarn length, but for starters, cut a super long piece because you can always go back & cut it shorter. Fold the yarn in half & place under the stick. Then stick the end of the yarn through the loop & bang! You have the start of a yarn wall hanging. I wish I had pictures to show you guys exactly how to do it, but it’s pretty easy to figure out!
