Happy, happy Friday!
This week’s outfit of the week is part thrifted! The skirt is from Buffalo Exchange & is so flattering. The top is from Target! Imagine that! I like it because it’s thin, but also a layer of warmth for cooler days. It’s already warming up here in AZ & I have mixed feelings about it honestly…. I love summer, but the hot weather just seems to never end! So I’m trying to hold onto the cold weather outfits as long as I can get away with it hahah
In other news, I made a hair appointment to go blonder!! I don’t know if you can even tell in my photos, but I have blonde highlights right now & really like them. I’ve always been curious if blondes really do have more fun, so I’m about to find out 😉

Hey guys! Happy Friday!
No, I didn’t forget about my Chic of the Week! I just had a busy morning. I went to yoga & then work & then I got coffee with my mommy! I’m just now sitting down to write, so here I am, live & in action!
This week’s look is my attempt at a transition outfit. Unfortunately for me, I’m in Arizona where it won’t feel like fall until November! But I can’t complain because I love being warm. This skirt is from Buffalo Exchange, & it is my favorite place to thrift. They are very picky about what they take, so it is a lot of high quality, high-end clothing, but for lower the price! This top is also from there, but originally from Topshop. My favorite way to add personality to an outfit is with a pop of color! That’s why I chose to wear light blue sandals. I got them at Charming Charlie a long time ago, but they are still super in. Get them while they’re on sale!
I want to start doing my Peak & Pit every week on here! For those of you that don’t watch Keeping up with the Kardashian’s, it’s where they talk about the highlight of their week & then the worst part of their week. I think it would be a fun way to talk to you guys, so let me know in the comments your peak & pit 🙂
Peak: I got pumpkin pie pop tarts at the grocery store this week. Went in for one thing & came out with a bunch of things I don’t need! But all in the name of fall amiright?
Pit: School. I’m honestly over it lol

Happy Friday guys!!
I know the picture is something a little different, but let me just tell you how hard it is to find time to take a picture during the week & someone who is willing to take it. I seriously need a personal photographer. I never really understood the importance of having one as a blogger, but I am slowly starting to get it. Self timers just aren’t as great. I’m going home soon so I’ll try to plan a lot of looks so I can build up my content for the following months so I don’t have to bother my roommates or not-so-Instagram boyfriend.
For outfit details, there isn’t much. I actually did a post last summer with this exact t-shirt dress from Forever21. But I’m just here to say that they are still in, & still the most comfy thing ever. It is slowly starting to become spring where I live, so I’ve been working on transition outfits & bringing back all the old sundresses & tank tops I missed oh so much.
Also, don’t forget to check out my first YouTube video that I posted on Monday! It’s all about my Spring Break 🙂
This week was actually kinda cold so I was thrown off! I am trying to slowly transition my wardrobe from winter to spring.
I paired my brown corduroy skirt from Buffalo Exchange with a black turtleneck. I don’t know if I’ve ever talked about how much I love turtlenecks, but I do. And it’s funny because I hated them as a kid! But now I think they are so warm & cozy & flattering. And low-key, it’s perfect in the winter for when your makeup doesn’t match the rest of you because you’re not tan! I also got this beret as a birthday gift & it went so cute with this look! I feel so french when I wear it. The shoes are from Forever21, but boots would also look good. And the mug was just an added touch, but isn’t it so cute?! I am obsessed with Harry Potter. (Fun Fact!)
I am currently in California for my Spring Break! It’s kinda cold so I’m sad because I don’t know how much beach time I’ll have, but it’s still something new 🙂
Don’t forget to check out my post from Monday – a Spring Break packing guide!
Today’s Chic of the Week is my attempts at reluctantly transitioning my wardrobe from winter to spring Don’t get me wrong because I love spring, but not quite yet!! It’s only February!
I would look ridiculous if I wore a sweater because it is literally 80 degrees, so I wore a denim jacket over top a simple crop top & paired it with my white high waisted jeans. I chose to wear sandals, but booties would also look good! I also did some simple braids, which is crazyyyy because I normally don’t even touch it, except maybe to spray some dry shampoo because who has time to wash their hair during the week?? Might just have to do a post on this 🙂 Oh, & my choker is from the LC Lauren Conrad collection!
This weekend Jake is coming down for a Valentine’s party & then my roommates & I are going to see the newest 50 Shades of Grey…….
Check back Monday for some Valentine’s Day outfit inspo!
For this week’s outfit, I paired a light pink bodysuit from Forever21 with shorts from H&M that I’ve talked about a bunch because I actually love them. I wasn’t sure how to feel about the bodysuit trend, but this one is super comfy & you don’t have to worry about it becoming untucked (idk how to describe it) from your shorts, like you would a t-shirt or tank. Instead of a bodysuit, you could even wear a one piece with shorts for the beach or beginning-of-the- school-year pool parties. I opted for white Keds because I was exploring the Windy City (expect a blog post with lots of pics!!), but I think sneakers are the best shoe for this look. But feel free to play around with it! That’s why I love fashion; there are no rules.
Have a great weekend & don’t forget to read my last post raving about my favorite planners!
