Hi guys! Happy Friday!
This week’s outfit is from another photoshoot that I did a couple of weeks ago! These photos make me cold just looking at them haha we really captured the winter vibes.
Believe it or not though, the flannel is NOT mine. I had to scramble the night before the shoot, texting all my friends if they had a flannel I could borrow hahah I found one eventually & it turned out really cute! I just wouldn’t consider flannels my style & that’s why I don’t have one, but they are a staple so I should probably invest in a cute one. The pants are thrifted Levi’s, & the booties are some of my favorite this time of year. The beanie is also super old, but I’ll link something similar because it’s cozy & warm!
I’m spending this weekend with my mommy & I couldn’t be more excited! We’re going to drink lots of wine, go to the farmers market &… decorate for Christmas!! I can’t wait any longer to put up my tree. I actually went to a bar last night that was all decorated so I decided it’s officially time!!

Hi guys! Happy Friday!
This week’s outfit of the week is so cute & comfy! It’s from one of my favorite online shops Luca & Grae. They mentioned me in their Instagram story with a link to shop sweaters & I’m kinda fangirling!! I bought this outfit because 1) I don’t have nearly enough sweaters & 2) I can wear it on vacay (like here) or to work! We love versatile pieces! They already sold out of the exact sweater I’m wearing, but I linked a really similar one that I’ve been eyeing!
Now that it’s November 1st, you know what that means… Merry Christmas!! I am so excited for this season. I truly feel like it’s the happiest time of the year! It’s finally cooling off in Phoenix, just in time for me to put up my tree lol I’ve been listening to Justin Bieber’s Christmas album all day & drinking HOT coffee. Next up: my Christmas wish list. Because so far all I have on it is a nice knife set 🙂 hahah am I doing this whole adult thing right?!

Hi guys! I’m back with more ootws!!
I wore this outfit on my first day back to classes on Monday! I decided to layer because it was actually a little bit cold. I’m a huge fan of denim jackets because they are easy to layer & lightweight, plus add a cute touch to any look! I paired it with a white sweater & dark, distressed jeans. I got pink Vans for Christmas & I’m so in love! They are the cutest thing. I’m channeling my inner skater girl 😉 hahah jk! But fun fact! When my brother & I were younger we would ride our scooters on our back patio & “jump” from the patio to the gravel. We thought we were SO cool. I can imagine if 8-year old-skater me would’ve had style, it would’ve looked a little something like this!!
But yeah, I started school again this week & I want to CRY. School just stresses me out so much, but in 2019 we are staying happy, positive & stress free 🙂 And good luck to all my other college friends starting classes again!

Yesterday I cerebrated my 20th BIRTHDAY with some of my friends & let me just say… I feel old. JK. But still, it’s kinda crazy to think about… like TWENTY??!!
All of that intro is to say, I had to have a cool outfit for the party so I pulled out a new piece that I got a few months ago on one of my various late-night online shopping sprees. Thankfully, I chose to go to Forever21 so the damage wasn’t horrible. But still. Did I need the stuff? No.
The velvet bodysuit is from Forever21 in a size small, but I definitely could’ve been better off with an XS. I’ve noticed their bodysuits run pretty big, so I would always size down at least a size. Also, you can’t wear a bra with it… so keep that in mind my ladies…. The denim skirt and shoes are also from Forever21. I got the skirt awhile back, but you can find details on the shoes here. I got the leather jacket as a gift a few years ago when they were really popular, but it’s perfect for throwing over my shoulder for a night out!
Don’t forget to check out my post from Monday that talks about my resolutions for the year 🙂 I’m a week in & so far, so good…
GUYS!! Christmas is in 2 days!! I’m so excited. My family always has a huge brunch on Christmas morning & then we spend all day opening presents (which I don’t love, but I’m not going to complain because bah-humbug) & then I usually get to spend some time with Jacob & his family & give & receive even more. But even though I love the food & the gifts & the time with family, I also take a step back & remember the true reason for the season: Jesus. Without Him, I wouldn’t be half the woman I am today. I’m not going to get preachy or anything, but He’s pretty awesome, so don’t forget to take time out of all the festivities to count your blessings.
Alright, now for the real reason for this post: my Chic of the Week. The top is a brand called Joe Fresh & I got it a long time ago, but I wear it all the time & I’m telling you now, invest in a white sweater. You’ll wear it all the time. The pants are LC Lauren Conrad (you guys can probably tell by now, but I have like, 3 pairs of pants). But my favorite part of this look is the shoes. I got them last week at Charlotte Russe because I walked past the store & saw they were having a half off sale, & then I saw the boots & had to get them. Even though they are pink, they’re a very versatile color & style. I will link them here, because you need them.
If you are still busy getting your gifts together, check out my gift guide post & wrapping theme post.
Have a Merry Christmas!!
P.S. I was freezing in these pics
I’m glad it’s finally considered socially acceptable to watch Christmas movies in front of the tree with hot chocolate because that’s what I’ll be doing all weekend! I have finals next week & should probably study, but I have all of Monday to do that… I’m planning a post for Monday all about how to get through finals week so make sure to check back!
As for my outfit, this is what I wore to Friendsgiving this year. I got the top last year at an end of season sale, but it’s from the LC Lauren Conrad collection. It is so pretty & not too hot, so it’s perfect for this winter!! I paired it with my LC Lauren Conrad jeans & nude booties that I wear with absolutely everything.
P.S. Don’t forget to check out my post from earlier this week where I give a little life update 🙂
It’s almost Thanksgiving! Is it just me or has this month gone by super, super fast?? I’m happy though because I am ready for this semester to be over!!
I’ve been kinda sick this week (for the third time this month…) so I’ve been really lazy in my outfits. I pulled this one together kinda quick before going on a study date yesterday. My class was cancelled so I decided to make the most of it! I found a super cute coffee shop right across from where I live. I think I’m about to spend the next few weeks there…
Anyway, for outfit details: I got the sweater a few years back when I was still in high school at an end of winter sale or something. It’s super soft & warm, but not too hot for 80 degree winters haha. I think I got the leggings at Kohls because I love how cheap & comfy they are! And the shoes are from Forever21. I can’t remember if I’ve talked about them yet, but they’re super versatile & easy to slip on as you’re running out the door. But they still look like you tried.
My roomies & I are hosting Friendsgiving today & I’m sooo excited. I love any excuse to have all my favorite people in one place 🙂 It’s our first time cooking a turkey though so wish us luck!!
